Schreiber contra bassoons are an enrichment for the bassoon section of an orchestra.

Due to the very good response and the optimal key work positioning, the change from a bassoon to a Schreiber contra bassoon - even during a concert - causes no difficulties.

The time to get used to the instrument is extremely short. The tuning can easily be regulated by the special tuning slide.

Schreiber contra bassoons are available as: model 5051 to low A
