and easy blowing are the basic, features of the Selmer Super 80
"SERIES III" Soprano with its excellent tuning and quality
of sound say's Don Mackrill. A full sound all the way up the instrument,very friendly
fingering layout. it offers a playing technique similar to the
Alto and Tenor saxophones.
Each instrument is supplied with one straight and one curved neck
to suit every musician to find the perfect position and the sound
option which suit him.These necks are also available in gold brass
bell and in sterling.

High G key located above the high
F sharp (not to change the playing habits) enables to widen the
instrument range,
Acoustic features
:
a great sound richness with high tones without aggressiveness;-
a free blowing, particularly in the high register, while keeping
a balanced control, a wider range (high G) ; an homogeneous tuning
over the whole range;
an overall playing flexibility.
Physical features:
a balanced ergonomy; angled functioning of all the spatulas
in the low register, little finger left hand; positioning of the
C/E-flat spatulas, little finger right hand; a metal thumb rest,
right hand; an optional neck (straight or curved).
