The
Advance AV6P is comfortable and well balanced and out-specs virtually
any guitar in or above its respective class. A new take on the classic
double cutaway guitar we are all familiar with, but take a closer
look and you will see how much we have improved the concept. High
access neck joint, 'select' American alder body, maple neck and
Indian rosewood 22 fret fingerboard. The unique Bubinga heel extension
provides enhanced mechanical coupling between the neck and body,
producing increased sustain and definition.
Featuring no less than three stacked humbucking P90 pickups specially
designed by Trev Wilkinson for this model, the AV6P is the real
'tone hound' of the Advance Series.
So is the AV6P really two brilliant guitars in one? Trev Wilkinson
thinks it is; “Alongside the master volume and master tone
controls, the ‘Roll Control’ takes each pickup from
stacked humbucking mode to classic single coil P90 territory. Working
in conjunction with the five-way pickup selector, this configuration
moves from heavy, fat overdrive to all the sparkle expected from
the traditional ‘3 single coil’ pickup configuration.”
The unique Wilkinson WVC 5+1 vibrato bridge with 'real steel' sustain
block, and Trev's patented E-Z-Lok™ tuners, which provide
staggered string post heights too, means you get true 'return to
zero' tuning stability, with smooth and effortless tone-drenched
vibrato.

The twin
cutaway style Advance AV6H is comfortable, well balanced and so

Superior tone is guaranteed due to its select quality, American
alder body and slick,satin finished hard maple neck. Available in
gorgeous Candy Apple Red or an authentic Vintage White.
With Wilkinson WHS alnico single coils in the neck and middle positions
(slightly overwound for better balance with the WHHB bridge humbucker),
Trev Wilkinson has seriously increased the tonal firepower of the
AV6H by adding the extra ‘Roll Control’. This means
that the hot bridge humbucker can be rolled back to single coil
mode for additional tonal versatility. A traditional 5-way pickup
selector switch easily accesses all of the sounds from the AV6H's
S/S/H pickup layout.

and so easy to play thanks to its high access neck joint.
Great tone is assured thanks to its premier quality American
alder body and hard maple neck. Available in smooth Boulevard
Black or the vibrant Sunset Sunburst, the AV6S guitars are
stylish and versatile instruments.
The AV6S is definitely the option for any guitar player who
prefers the more traditional style of pickup layout, as it
features three specially-calibrated Wilkinson WHS slightly
overwound
single coil pickups for a clear and crisply-detailed palette
of sounds, with the ability to drive effects better than lower
output pickups. Plus, the middle pickup is reverse wound/reverse
polarity, giving noise free positions 2 and 4 on the 5-way
pick up selector switch.
