The YSL-350C has a shorter slide and bell section
and is lightweight and well balanced, for a easy to handling
even by younger/smaller children.
 Finally a full-sized Trombone that a child can play!
Many children are fascinated by the trombone. It has a strong
and pleasing tone which can slide smoothly from note to note,
and it’s visually exciting-it looks fun! But unlike most
other instruments, the trombone cannot be played by small children.
Modern trombones were designed for adults, and many would-be beginners
just can’t stretch their arms far enough to play all the
slide positions. That’s why we created the Yamaha YSL-350C.
This is a full-sized trombone, using the traditional slide positions,
but it’s much shorter in length. With the YSL-350C, you
can play a full scale without using the two farthest positions!

A totally new designed jazz trombone with a brass outer slide,
featuring ultra-close slide tolerances.
Jazz trombone players have a new voice. One-piece bell. A one-piece bell has an axial (lengthwise) seam,
making it a continuous extension of the instrument's material.
This results in pure, uniform resonance and superior tone. A hammered
yellow brass bell produces a pure and perfectly-balanced tone
