YTR-2335 - Standard Bb Trumpet

Supplied with medium weight tubing, pro bore and bell size for increased tonal core and a comfortable, efficient response. In addition, it includes a thumb-hook on the 1st valve slide for subtle adjustments and a tuning slide brace for richer sound. The YTR-2335 is available with either durable silver-plating, or a special gold-lacquer finish.

YTR-4335G - Intermediate Bb Trumpet

This trumpet shares many of the same qualities of our top-of-the-line professional models, like a rich full tone with accurate intonation and the ability to either blend with the ensemble or project a solo. It features Monel pistons for quick and reliable valve action, a gold-brass bell for warm rich tone. The entire inner bore taper from mouthpiece receiver to the bell has been scientifically designed for beautiful tone color, comfortable response, and as much sound as you want.

Yamaha’s Z trumpets were designed in collaboration with jazz legend Bobby Shew. Bobby plays a wide variety of musical styles and dreamed of a single trumpet which would be equally suited for screaming lead, mellow jazz, ballads, ‘legit’studio gigs, etc. It took many years of working with Bobby before we finally achieved our goal, but it was worth it.

YTR-8335RGS Reversed Leadpipe Heavyweight "Xeno" ( pronounced " Zeno" )


The leadpipe and tuning slide of the YTR-8335R are reversed style with a single brace for quicker response and playing agility.The longer leadpipe contributes to the centered, even intonation. A weighted mouthpiece receiver adds body to the tonal core, and helps hold the sound together at large dynamics. This model has a ring on the 1st valve slide, and no water key on the third valve slide, as preferred by some players.

This version has a lighter mouthpiece receiver and a thumb hook rather than a thumb ring, as is preferred by British trumpeters.
