YTR-9630 Lightweight Eb trumpet
With their brilliant sound, clear, crisp attack, and excellent high register control, these trumpets were originally used mainly for performance of Baroque music. But now they are increasingly played as a more ‘secure’alternative to Bb and C trumpets-especially for playing treacherous high passages. We offer several different styles and variations in our Custom series.

The YTR-9630 is especially well suited for use in place of Bb or C trumpets, due to its large sized 5" bell (bigger than the bell of many Bb trumpets) which gives a broad warm sound. A 4th valve extends the lower range making it possible to play most Bb and C trumpet parts, and the added weight from the extra valve adds substance to the sound.

YTR-9635 Heavyweight E/Eb trumpet

Though originally used primarily for Baroque music, they are increasingly used by solo and orchestral players for security with difficult high passages as well as for the clarity and lyrical qualities of their sound. The YTR-9635 comes with two bells and sets of slides to convert it to either E or Eb which makes it especially suitable for both Hummel and Haydn concertos.
