The YFH-2310 is a standard model flugelhorn which features many of the same specifications as our pro models, and delivers a traditional flugelhorn sound —extremely round and mellow —with accurate intonation and easy playability.

YFH-6310Z Flugel Horn

The Yamaha YFH-6310Z is a professional model flugelhorn which combines the tonal richness and depth of character of the older traditional flugels with the easy playability and superb intonation made possible by high-tech engineering. Inspired by legendary artist Bobby Shew, the YFH-6310Z features the perfect amount of air resistance to let you color the sound - your sound - exactly the way you want to. And it slots so nicely in the upper register you’ll forget you’re playing a flugel! A special ‘Bobby Shew’signature mouthpiece is included which perfectly balances and complements the YFH-6310Z.

YFH-631G Flugel Horn
Professional Model. .
Flugelhorns have a soft, mellow, dark sound with beautiful lyrical qualities; they are especially favored for jazz ballads. Yamaha Flugelhorns have overcome the inconsistencies of intonation traditionally associated with these instruments, and offer a very comfortable response.
The YFH-631G offers the traditional Yamaha flugelhorn style with a free blowing response. It features triggers on the third valve slide for fine intonation adjustments.
